Llewellyn Michael Bates is a Melbourne-based producer and screenwriter. His short film, Nathan Loves Ricky Martin, is award nominated by international and Australian film festivals. He is also published author. His online articles have been shortlisted and distributed both in Australia and overseas, Llewellyn is currently in the process of developing feature length dramas and docudramas.  His strengths are clever story design structure as well as creating memorable characters with immersive dialogue blending comedic and dramatic elements. His hard-to-watch films transcend both pain and beauty to create an apex point for the visceral.
